CALDERWOOD a former colleague began systematically contacting friends including WILLIAMS, family members, the Libre-SOC Research members, the EU funding bodies of Libre-SOC, Company's House, the OpenPOWER foundation, everyone I knew, giving a catastrophically KNOWINGLY false and fraudulent misrepresentation of the facts, stating that I am violent abusive and dangerous, in such a believable fashion, leaving out that he knew I had had a stroke because we had been speaking nearly every day when it was possible for me to communicate, that not one single person felt safe contacting me to check the actual facts.

All right, Luke. Those are some very serious allegations. I would like you to give a fair chance for Alain and -- I'm sorry, I'm not good with names -- whoever "Calderwood" is, a fair chance to give their side of the story as well, or to abstain from doing so if they choose. This is not a democracy, it is true, nor are due process and an impartial trial guaranteed here, but the principles at least which guide how democracy and the US Justice System are founded, those principles are a very good place to start, even if one believes (or not) that things have perhaps gone awry over time -- which, I must emphasize, is not a discussion for this place and time.

Alain, Mr or Ms Calderwood, I would appreciate hearing from each of you, your own side of things, independent of what Luke has said.

I don't get it, why are you trying this good faith approach? Many have tried along the years, with the same open, professional, serene kindness attitude you are trying to display... for the same predictable result: in the end, they all had to severe links with him. Rinse and repeat. Those projects and their outcome are in fact just a tiny point in a more concerning and hopeless overall picture, as you understand it. People still waiting for them should better write them off for good, and move on (I mean, I am sure 99.9% of the people already did it).

This has been going on for years (perhaps up to 15 years), and it only got worse year after year. In his good periods, he successfully managed to convince people to trust and hire or finance him, despite a dubious track record; his enlightenment made him good at talking, and many gave him another chance, and then another, etc. But the 'enlightenment' has degenerated over the years into more serious forms, and now the guy is beyond repair, locked inside a deteriorating loop, he is a danger to anyone trying to help him. Many, from different backgrounds and with different skills, tried. To no avail.

This is off-topic for this mail list. I make no comment on the veracity of what Luke says. This, and similar, stories Luke has said many times on various forums.

I have seen many discussions between Luke and Mr Goudriaan and at one point tried to mediate. My assessment is that Luke was rude and abusive; Mr Goudriaan was reasonable and tried hard to help Luke through his problems.

I am only aware of some of the discussions between Luke & Mr Calderwood and so will not comment. I have spoken with Mr Calderwood and do not have any problem with him.

I have listened, to much more than mail lists, but come to a different conclusion from Luke. Yes: he has medical issues; No: to the idea that most of the causes of his problems are due to other people.

Luke: I hope that you come to realise that most of us wish you well and hope that you recover from your problems. Many people have tried to help you, however: they have their own feelings, needs and problems, you cannot abuse them and blame them for your own problems.

The better part of me wants to think this is a simple config accident, something got misclicked, but... it doesn't look good. I'm concerned about the effect this is having on his mental heath -- I don't know enough about medicine to evaluate his symptoms one way or another, far from it, but I know what someone sounds like when their mind is in enough pain to affect normal thought processes, and Luke sounds EXTREMELY unhealthy to me.

I'm unusually sensitive to it, especially for someone with autism... having a mother who suddenly falls ill and becomes a perpetrator of nonphysical domestic violence against you for over a decade will do that to a person. Sadly.
